Brandýs nad Orlicí (Czech pronunciation: [ˈbrandiːs ˈnat orlɪtsiː]; German: Brandeis an der Adler) is a town in Ústí nad Orlicí District in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,300 inhabitants. The town is located on the Tichá Orlice River in the Svitavy Uplands. The historic town centre is well preserved and is protected as an urban monument zone. The main landmarks of the town are the Brandýs nad Orlicí Castle and the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
