עין מגדל הוא אחד משני מעיינות (עם עין חומה) הנובע כל השנה ומזין את נחל הקיבוצים ונמצא בתחומו של פארק המעיינות. המעיין נקרא על שם צורת ההתיישבות חומה ומגדל. היישוב הסמוך ניר דוד, נחשב לראשון מבין ישובי חומה ומגדל וליישוב העברי הראשון שהוקם בעמק בית שאן. חברת מקורות שואבת את מימי עין חומה ומעבירה אותם לעין מגדל ומשם הם זורמים לערוץ נחל הקיבוצים.
