עין עקב הוא שמם של שני מעיינות הבוקעים על ערוץ נחל עקב שברמת עבדת בנגב התיכון, דרומית-מזרחית ליישוב הקהילתי מדרשת בן-גוריון וסמוך לנחל צין ועין עבדת. מקור השם בשם הערבי למקום - עין אֻם כַּעְבּ, שפירושו מעיין העקב. האבן שעל שמה נקרא המעיין היא אבן צור שחורה שנמצאת בעין עקב עליון, והיא שונה מאוד מסביבתה הלבנה.
