At the heart of the complex is Tel Qasile, a 3,000-year-old Philistine city with temple remains. The Planetarium presents astronomy shows, and a special pavilion documents the history of Tel Aviv. תל קסילה הוא תל ארכאולוגי השוכן כיום בתחומו של מוזיאון ארץ ישראל ברמת אביב בצפונה של תל אביב. במקום נמצאו ממצאים שתרמו רבות לידע אודות הפלשתים, אשר ישבו בתל החל במאה ה-12 לפנה"ס ועד תחילת המאה ה-10 לפנה"ס. בתל 12 שכבות - שלוש הראשונות (12 עד 10) מקבילות לתקופת השלטון הפלשתי (שיאו של היישוב בשכבה 10), ושכבות 9 עד 12 מאוחרות לו.
