מוזיאון הרצליה לאמנות עכשווית נפתח לקהל בשנת 1975, ובו מוצגות תערוכות מתחלפות של אמנות בת-זמננו ויצירות מהאוסף. המוזיאון ממוקם בלב הקריה החדשה של העיר המאגדת את בניין העירייה, בית המשפט, בית יד לבנים ומשתרעת בין הרחובות בן-גוריון והבנים. המוזיאון שוכן במבנה בטון חשוף שהוכרז כמבנה לשימור (בתכנון: רכטר-זרחי-פרי). החל מ-2014 עומדת בראשו ד"ר איה לוריא המשמשת כאוצרת ראשית ומנהלת המוזיאון. מדי שנה מוצגות במוזיאון הרצליה עשרות תערוכות יחיד ותערוכות קבוצתיות בשלושה מחזורים של תערוכות.
