תל חי הייתה חווה חקלאית קטנה באצבע הגליל בראשית תקופת ההתיישבות הציונית בארץ ישראל. ב-1 במרץ 1920 (י"א באדר תר"ף) התחולל בה קרב שהפך לסמל ללחימת מעטים מול רבים ולערך ההתיישבות כחלק מהאתוס הציוני. בקרב נהרגו שישה יהודים, ובהם יוסף טרומפלדור. החווה, שהפכה לקיבוץ תל חי, אוחדה ב-1926 עם כפר גלעדי, ואנשיה עברו לשם. בשטח החצר הוקמו אתר זיכרון, המכללה האקדמית תל-חי, המכללה הטכנולוגית תל חי, פארק תעשייה ואכסניית נוער.
