הבית השרוף, או בית קתרוס, הוא כינויו של בית מגורים יהודי משלהי תקופת בית שני, שנשרף ונחרב במהלך חורבן ירושלים לאחר הכנעת המרד הגדול בירושלים בשנת 70 לספירה, ונתגלה מחדש בשנת 1970, בחפירות ארכאולוגיות בעיר העתיקה. הבית עצמו נמצא כ-6 מטרים מתחת למפלס רחוב תפארת ישראל ברובע היהודי, והוא חלק ממוזיאון לארכאולוגיה בשם הפרוור ההרודיאני. על פי כתביו של יוסף בן מתתיהו, אזור זה של ירושלים היה ידוע בעושרו, ובשל קרבתו לבית המקדש היה מאוכלס בראשי הכהונה בעיר.
