חורבת גבול (ח'רבת ג'בול במקור) הוא אתר ארכאולוגי בדרום־מזרח הגליל התחתון, כשלושה קילומטרים מדרום לכוכב הירדן, ומעל נחל גבול וגדתו הצפונית של נחל יששכר. היישוב הקדום "גבול" נזכר עוד בראשית המאה ה-14 בידי החוקר אשתורי הפרחי, בתיאור הדרך מבית שאן לטבריה, ולפי הסברה כאן היה מקום מוצאו של האמורא יעקב גבולאי הנזכר בתלמוד הירושלמי (חלה, נט, ע"א). בחורבה נתגלו שרידים מהתקופה הביזנטית, וכן שני לוחות אבן עם חריטה מעוצבת של מנורת שבעת הקנים לצד מחתה, שופר וארבעת המינים. כמו כן, נתגלו בחורבה שרידי מבנה ציבורי גדול, ובו אבני גזית, לוח שיש, אבן מזוזה ואבני פסיפס, אשר אופייניים לבתי כנסת קדומים באזור.
