בית שערים הוא אתר ארכאולוגי הכולל נקרופוליס השוכן בגליל התחתון. במקום התקיים יישוב יהודי חשוב בתקופת בית שני, המשנה והתלמוד. שיא פריחת היישוב הייתה בין המאות ה-2 וה-4 לספירה, עת שהתה בו הסנהדרין בראשותו של רבי יהודה הנשיא. האתר הוכרז כגן לאומי וב-2015 כאתר מורשת עולמי. בית שערים הקדומה ממוקמת על גבעת שייח' אבריק ליד קריית טבעון של ימינו. הגבעה נמצאת על אחת מהשלוחות הדרומיות של הגליל התחתון וניתן להשקיף ממנה על עמק יזרעאל מדרום-מזרח ועל הר הכרמל ממערב. ב-5 ביולי 2015 הוכרז בית שערים כאתר מורשת עולמית של אונסק"ו.
