📖 About Yarkon Park
Yarkon Park (Ganei Yehoshua) is the great green lung of Tel Aviv — a vast urban park along the Yarkon Stream, a favorite of Gush Dan residents for activity, sport, and family outings. The park spans hundreds of acres and includes an enormous variety: walking and cycling paths along the stream, a lake for renting boats and kayaks, the rock garden, a tropical garden, a bird safari, and sports facilities. At the eastern end there is a water park and an attractions complex. The Yarkon Stream, which underwent ecological restoration, flows through the park. You can boat on it, fish, or simply stroll along it. The wide lawns invite picnics, and the complex hosts concerts and large performances in summer. The park is always open, free entry (some attractions are paid). Good for the whole family — sport, cycling, boating, and picnics. Accessible and central. Tel Avivs great green space.
